Intake, Eligibility & Admission Procedure
VRET College of Physical Education, Raichur follows the applicable NCTE norms and standards, University regulations and Government guidelines for admission to the B.P.Ed. programme.
Intake
The intake capacity of the B.P.Ed. programme shall be as approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the affiliating University from time to time.
Eligibility for Admission
Candidates seeking admission to the B.P.Ed. programme must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed by NCTE, the affiliating University and the competent Government authority.
- Candidates must possess the prescribed Bachelor's Degree qualification or equivalent qualification as applicable.
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed academic eligibility requirements.
- Candidates must fulfil the applicable physical education, sports or other requirements prescribed by the competent authority, wherever applicable.
- Reservation and relaxation in eligibility shall be applicable as per Government and University rules.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the B.P.Ed. programme shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable NCTE norms and standards, University regulations and the admission policy of the Government/competent authority.
Application
Eligible candidates shall submit the application form within the prescribed admission period.
Verification
Academic certificates, eligibility documents and other required records shall be verified by the college.
Selection / Merit
Candidates shall be selected according to the applicable University, Government and admission guidelines.
Admission Confirmation
Selected candidates shall complete the prescribed admission formalities and payment of applicable fees.
University Registration
The admitted students shall complete University registration and other formalities within the prescribed time.
